Fancy Stocking Cap

Instructions:
175 yds - Novelty Yarn & 175 yds worsted held together
or
160 yds Mohair used single
#15 double point needles or 16 inch circular needles

Using yarn double, cast on 36 sts. Join, being careful not to twist. Knit in rounds until piece measures 24 inches. Thread yarn needle and run through stitches on needle twice, pulling these up into a tight circle. Push yarn needle through to wrong side and run through cast on sts. Pulling these up into a tight circle, then run needle through them again. Fasten securely. Catch both centers together and hat is finished!
